Answering a call on a mobile device

Last updated:

When a call comes in on your mobile device, the incoming call screen shows up on your display and you will hear a ringtone.

On iPhone and iPad mobile devices, the incoming call screen displays the caller name at the top and Accept / Decline buttons at the bottom, if your device is unlocked, or a slide to answer button, otherwise.

On Android mobile devices, the incoming call screen displays the caller name at the top and three icons at the bottom. The left icon shows a phone receiver inside a red circle, the middle icon shows a phone receiver inside a white circle, and the left icon shows a phone receiver inside a green circle.

  • To answer a call:
    • On iPhone and iPad mobile devices, tap the Accept button if you are using the device. If the device is locked, swipe the slide to answer button to the left and, then, tap the Circuit icon.

    • On Android mobile devices, drag the icon that shows a phone receiver inside a white circle to the green circle.

Answering a call will launch Circuit, if it is not already launched.

You can answer the call with voice only. You can always turn your video on after the call is answered.

  • To decline (reject) a call:
    • On iPhone and iPad mobile devices, tap the Decline button if you are using the device. If the device is locked, press the lock/wake button twice.

    • On Android mobile devices, drag the icon that shows a phone receiver inside a white circle to the red circle.
